About PTC
Professional Training Center, Inc. was developed out of an association of nationally recognized trainers. The purpose of the organization is to enhance the competency levels of professionals working within the business and health care community.
We offer fully compliant DOT SAP Qualification training and examination for individuals who want to expand their professional offerings. We also have multiple ways to easily requalify as a SAP from the comfort of your home.
Three Day SAP Training
PTC has developed a two day online training event specific to the revised DOT regulations and focusing on the Role and Responsibilities of the Substance Abuse Professional, SAP, and a DOT compliance Seminar for employers who must meet the DOT requirements. These training topics are covered in a two day training that is held via a ZOOM Webinar. The third day is an examination that is designed to prepare you for the DOT/SAP exam. The training course can be used for requalification without the exam.
Qualification Exam
PTC has developed the written qualification examination for the Substance Abuse Professional, SAP. The IC&RC Certification Boards have given permission for Professional Training Center to administer the qualifying examination.
Who We Are
About Professional Training Center
PTC was founded by Dr. William Mock in 2000 with the purpose of bringing his immense knowledge to health care providers who want to expand their business and grow as an SAP. William L. Mock has since retired but still serves as the primary trainer for our SAP qualification courses. His academic degrees include a Doctorate in Psychology and Masters in Social Work. He is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor and DOT qualified SAP. He has expertise in chemical dependency treatment, family systems treatment and organizational systems development. Bill has provided training and consultation in several countries to such diverse groups as treatment/prevention providers, family therapists, industry leaders, educators, administrators and criminal justice personnel.
